Thank you for adhering to our Abundance policies.  By booking your reservation with us, you are confirming that you understand, agree to and will abide by the policies stated below. 

For Sundance and Moondance overnight stays, we require a 2 night minimum stay, except on major holidays for which we require a 3 night minimum.

Sundance is also available for day rentals (i.e. no overnight stay) for corporate functions or group meetings from Monday - Thursday.

To reserve either Sundance or Moondance, a 50% deposit is required at the time of the reservation, and full payment is due 30 days prior to arrival. All room rates are subject to 6% sales tax.

To reserve both Sundance and Moondance a 50% deposit is required at the time of the reservation, and full payment is required 60 days prior to your scheduled arrival.  All room rates are subject to 6% sales tax.

Also required at the time of booking is a "Damage/Excess Cleaning" deposit of $500 for Sundance and $200 for Moondance.  This can be either a credit card authorization or a check.  If in the form of a check, the check will be returned to you after your stay assuming no excess cleaning is required (e.g. carpet cleaning, extra kitchen cleaning, etc.), no damage occurred and nothing is missing or broken. If any portion, but not all, of this deposit is required to cover damage, excess cleaning or missing items, the unused balance of the funds will be returned to you.  If you choose the credit card authorization method, and there is any damage, extra cleaning or missing items, we will charge your credit card directly.  We reserve the right to cancel your reservation if we do not receive this deposit within 2 weeks of making your reservation.

Please note that you are also liable for damage or cleaning in excess of the amounts specified above and we reserve the right to charge your credit card if necessary.

We accept Visa and MasterCard. Personal checks and money orders are also welcome provided they arrive in the specified time periods. Please make checks payable to Abundance.

If you have either (but not both) Sundance or Moondance reserved, to cancel your reservation and receive refund for either Sundance or Moondance, we must receive notice of your cancellation at least 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival. With 30 days advance notice of your cancellation, you will receive a full refund minus a $50 bookkeeping fee. If you need to cancel your reservation within 30 days of your scheduled arrival date,  we will issue you a refund (minus a $50 administrative fee) if your lodging is rebooked by someone else for the same time period as your reservation and at least the same value; we will be unable to issue you a refund if we are unable to re-book for the same time period as your reservation and at least the same amount.

For groups reserving both Sundance and Moondance, to cancel your reservation and receive refund, we must receive notice of your cancellation at least 60 days prior to your scheduled arrival. With 60 days of advance notice of your cancellation, you will receive a full refund minus a $50 administrative fee. If you are reserving both Sundance and Moondance and need to cancel your reservation within 60 days of your scheduled arrival date, we will issue you a refund (minus a $50 administrative fee) if your lodging is rebooked by someone else for the same time period as your reservation and at least the same value; we will be unable to issue you a refund if we are unable to re-book for the same time period as your reservation and at least the same amount.

Guests who shorten their stay while in residence are still subject to this cancellation policy and will not receive a refund.

For overnight rentals, check in time is after 3 PM and check out time is 11 AM.

For Sundance day rentals (no overnight stay), please consult with proprietresses for available times.

We regret that we cannot accommodate children.

Dogs who are house broken, friendly and non-destructive are VERY welcome at both Sundance and Moondance.  A non-refundable pet deposit of $50 is required per dog.  We provide a single faux wicker kennel that is perfect for 2 small dogs or 1 medium size dog and ask that you not leave your pet unattended unless he/she is crated.  You are free, of course, to bring personal kennels.

Sundance and Moondance are smoke-free facilities. Smoking is allowed outside on the porches and patios.

Abundance is a nature retreat.  We ask that  you treat our property (the houses, land, plants and creek), wildlife and our neighbors with courtesy and respect.  This includes staying within the boundaries of our property.  We are sorry but we cannot accommodate large gatherings or loud parties.  If you would like to host a small gathering, please coordinate this with us.  We reserve the right to cancel your stay in progress if issues arise that endanger your safety, inconvenience our neighbors, threaten our property, or compromise natural surroundings or wildlife. 

We can accommodate a maximum of 3 cars for Sundance and 2 cars for Moondance.  If you have requirements for additional parking, please consult us and we will help with this.

We prohibit fishing as we are a nature retreat.
