Named for its bright and sunny interior, Sundance is a luxurious, spacious log home that brings the natural beauty of the outdoors inside to you.
The Great Room has a 28-foot high cathedral ceiling made of Norwegian pine, floor-to-ceiling windows and warm pecan floors. This large living and dining area provides a perfect view of the grounds for you to enjoy as you nest by the fireplace or host a seated dinner for up to 12 people.
The cozy Den features pine log walls and a hand-crafted fireplace of Texas Hill Country stone. You and your guests can warm yourselves by the fire in inviting overstuffed leather chairs while playing games, telling tall tales or comparing your treasures from the day's antiquing adventure.
Sundance has a fully-equipped charming country Kitchen with a chef-quality Vulcan stove, cookware and a service for 12. The kitchen has seating for 4 that is perfect for breakfast or a light meal.
The Sunrise Suite is the master suite and is on the 1st floor. It has floor-to-ceiling doors and windows that open onto Live Oaks and sweeping vistas. Even the shower overlooks the grounds. With a king-size bed and a trundle bed, the Sunrise Suite accommodates up to 4 guests and is spacious, airy and comfortable.
On the 2nd floor, the Lily of the Valley Room has a queen-size bed and a cozy sitting area. High in the treetops and enveloped by fluffy bedding, you'll feel like you're sleeping on a cloud. Featuring a Lily of the Valley motif, the room is appointed with classic greens and rich cream colors.
Appointed with antique toys, vintage games and timeless books, Sundance's 3rd bedroom - the Play Room - welcomes you back to your childhood. Twin beds, twin bear tables, and twin turtle lamps will bring out the kid in you. Let the fun begin!
Outside, you'll find the Outdoor Entertainment Area - - over 2000 square feet of exterior patios and decking, an outdoor kitchen made of limestone from the Texas Hill Country, and a covered stone porch with rocking chairs. This expansive outdoor entertainment area creates a seamless connection of inside and outside, blending natural beauty with comfortable living.

Connect with nature and soothe your soul on the peaceful and unspoiled Grounds of Abundance. Towering Live Oaks with outstretched branches welcome you upon your arrival. Rays of sunlight gently filter through the leaves of Abundance’s park-like setting. Deer, birds and butterflies will likely pay you a visit sometime during your stay. Spring-fed Cypress Creek winds its way alongside your backyard, so clear that you can see the fish and turtles smile at you.
You may never want to leave this peaceful place. Rock away the hours on the front porch in pine rocking chairs or walk away the hours along Cypress Creek. Hunt for fossils or enjoy a romantic picnic on the spacious grounds. Enjoy the trails of the nature preserve across the creek or toast the sunset of another abundantly beautiful day.

Sundance offers wireless internet for inside or outside connectivity (bring your own laptop), and local phone service. The lodge has the entertainment comforts of home, including cable, a DVD/CD player, a VCR and a TV. Sundance also features a fully-equipped kitchen with a microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker and cooking supplies.

No car? No worries. Abundance is located just an easy walk from the downtown Wimberley Square. Steeped in history, the Wimberley Square is famous for its antique shops, art galleries, restaurants and live music. You can leave your car and your worries behind as you explore the best Wimberley has to offer on foot.

What we provide for your use: bedding, towels, coffee maker, blender, plates/flatware/glasses, basic cookware, paper products, hair dryer, iron and ironing board and extra guest size toiletries (in case you forgot yours from home.)
Be sure to bring: all food and beverages, toiletries, and extra paper products. Please Note: Hays County is a dry county so bring your own alcohol if you so desire. Some restaurants have a "membership" that you can purchase in order to drink there and there is a liquor store located 4 miles outside of town at "The Crossroads."
Rates
The rental rate for Sundance Lodge is $550 for up to 6 guests, and $25 for each additional guest up to 8 at maximum capacity. Add 6% hotel/motel tax. We normally require a 2 night minimum stay, except on holiday weekends - - which is a 3 night minimum stay. Our pet fee is $50 per pet plus 6% hotel/motel tax.
